We went to Whitefish Point today for something to do. The bike seems to be burning a little oil with the 5W50 in. I'll switch back to 15W50 on the next oil change and see if that fixes it.

Here it is, the trip that has me doing all this. It will be my first multi-day trip on a motorcycle involving camping and seeing sights. The plan is to go in a big circle beginning in Sault Ste. Marie of course, and hitting Ottawa, Montreal, then down to Boston, spend a day or two there, visit Woods Hole (I used to live there) and on the way back stop in Albany (I used to live there too), Niagara Falls (to visit friends, but they don't know about that yet), and Windsor (to visit more friends). We may stop in Rochester, NY along the way too in order to visit other friends and maybe see the Kodak plant. I think that would be very nifty.
